1. Agreement

These Terms govern access to lucemstandard.com, account registration and purchases from Lucem Standard (“Lucem,” “we,” “us” or “our”). By accessing the site, creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy and Research Use Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

2. Eligibility and account responsibility

You must be at least 18 years old, legally capable of entering a binding agreement and legally permitted to acquire the products in your jurisdiction. You must provide accurate information, protect your credentials and notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account.

3. Research-use representation

You represent that products will be acquired and used solely for lawful laboratory or analytical research by qualified persons in suitable facilities. You will not use or permit use of a product in or on a human or animal, for compounding or personal use, or for any diagnostic, therapeutic, cosmetic, food or supplement purpose.

4. No medical or professional advice

Site content, product descriptions, COAs and support communications are provided for research-material and transactional information only. Lucem does not provide dosing, administration, reconstitution, treatment, safety or medical advice. Nothing on the site creates a clinician-patient, consultant or advisory relationship.

5. Product information and analytical records

Lucem’s stated release standard is 99% purity. The lot-specific COA controls as to the sample, methods and results actually reported. Images may be illustrative, and packaging may change without affecting the labeled product. A COA does not establish sterility, content, safety or any other characteristic unless that scope is expressly tested and reported.

6. Orders, pricing and acceptance

An order is an offer to purchase and is subject to acceptance, availability, payment authorization and compliance review. We may reject, limit, hold or cancel an order, correct pricing or catalog errors, or restrict quantities. If we cancel after collecting payment, the collected amount will be returned through the applicable payment method subject to processor timing.

7. Payment, taxes and fraud review

You authorize the payment method selected at checkout and are responsible for applicable taxes and charges. Orders may be delayed or cancelled for failed authorization, suspected fraud, sanctions or export concerns, address discrepancies or information suggesting prohibited use.

8. Shipping, title and delivery

Processing and transit estimates are not guarantees. Shipping terms, complimentary-shipping thresholds and claim procedures are described on the Shipping page. You are responsible for a complete delivery address, monitoring tracking and promptly receiving the shipment. Risk-allocation and title rules are subject to applicable law.

9. Cancellations, returns and order issues

Because research materials require controlled handling and chain-of-custody protection, shipped products generally cannot be restocked or returned. Cancellation requests must be received before fulfillment begins. Damage, shortage or fulfillment-error claims require prompt notice, the order number and supporting photographs. Approved resolutions may include replacement, credit or refund.

10. Compliance and refusal of service

You are responsible for determining whether purchase, possession, transport, handling and use are lawful. We may request supporting information, restrict site access, refuse service or cooperate with lawful requests where needed to protect Lucem, customers, carriers, service providers or the public.

11. Intellectual property

The Lucem Standard name, sunrise emblem, site design, photographs, text and other original materials are owned by or licensed to Lucem and may not be copied, republished, sold or used to imply affiliation without written permission. Product names owned by others remain the property of their respective owners.

12. Site availability and third-party services

We do not promise uninterrupted access. Hosting, payment, shipping and other functions may be provided by third parties under their own terms. Links to third-party resources are provided for convenience and do not constitute endorsement.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site and products are provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis without warranties beyond any written commitment expressly provided by Lucem. Rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lucem will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of profits, misuse, unauthorized use or research outcomes. Any direct-liability limitation will be applied only to the extent enforceable under applicable law.

15. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold Lucem and its personnel harmless from claims arising from your violation of these Terms, unlawful or prohibited use, mishandling, resale, misrepresentation or infringement of another party’s rights, to the extent permitted by law.

16. Changes and severability

We may update these Terms by posting a revised effective date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
